FIPs does something funny with my partition table on a 38G drive (worrying).
I believe fips handles up to 8 Gb and so does partb last time I looked at it.
PM5 makes life even more difficult. It trashed my partition table totally. Fortunately I had an fdisk dump. I decided to rebuild the system in the end with static partition sizes from scratch. This worked nicely. Backup/ restore might be a good idea onto a clean system.
PM5 and linux needs some extra attention in the way partitions are assigend to /dev entries. There is documentation explaining this on the CD. I mus admit though that I have not yet manipulated my linux partition with it. But I did insert a new partition between my FAT32 and EXT2 partition and did not have to change a thing.
