Is there any good web authoring tool for Linux? like Golive and Dreamweaver for Windows.
You might want to check out IBM's Toppage beta (www.ibm.com). It runs under wine, and other than being butt-slow on my PIII-450 with 256 MB RAM and having all the usual wine issues, it seems OK. There's also amaya from w3c, but it doesn't have all the Java and scripting gadgets-- on the cool side, it's fully HTML 4.0 compliant. Coffee Cup, on the other hand is non-WYSIWYG, but does Java. Personally, I use vim.
