Hi there,
I'm trying to compile an interface for a few mp3 programs called ripper. In order to do so I downloaded a current

I installed a current version of GTK prior to this operation. gtk-config is right here:
/usr/local/lib/gtk+-1.2.7/gtk-config
The following didn't help either:
# export GTK_CONFIG=/usr/local/lib/gtk+-1.2.7/gtk-config
Does anyone have any other ideas?
Of course, its possible that you don't clear the old GTK library so ./configure is finding the old gtk-config script and then... you can wonder... instead of upgrade packages (at least when they're in diferent formats) is better to send the old to the hell and only then install the new one. Good luck :)
Thanks.
