-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I just got the new KDE2 RPMs to work on my SuSE 6.3 box here at home. If you liked 1.1.2, your really going to like 2. Faster, Smoother and Easier/More intuitive ways to handle things, although some things I just wished they would change. KOffice is really nice. IMHO it still has some rough edges and some UI that they probably need to go beta w/ and get feedback on things that people would like to see. Now on to my question, How do I add KDE2 to my KDM session list? I know how to add it to /opt/kde/share/kdmrc and supposedly in your Xsession file in /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xdm. However, SuSE has a unique(not saying it is the easiest way, but they probably had there reasons) way of doing things. My current workaround is to create a new user and export WINDOWMANAGER = /etc/profile.d/kde2start. This way I can still use KDM (it will drop you into a failsafe mode). TIA!
