You've two (possibly more) options.

Firstly, you could install samba on both of the computers and smb mount them
and share files the Windows way. Bleaugh! (Especially since you're getting
somewhere with respect to getting rid of Windows...).

Secondly, you can export then via NFS. This involves setting up both computers
as NFS servers and creating a suitable /etc/exports. For more info on what goes
in /etc/exports, see 'man exports'. Don't forget to do an 'rcnfsserver restart'
after changing /etc/exports, so that your changes will take effect.
