I got wvdial.dod working (I hat an older version of wvdial - upgrade did the trick, but I found out that I cannot set the filters the way that I wanted to with diald, so I would like to ask for your help with diald again - I can connect to the ISP, but no ppp comes up, I get a lot of LCP messages (6 or 7) than link comes down. I use the same script for manual dialing and it connects just fine, but diald doesn't work. Anyone please.. first run /sbin/initd/wvdial.dod then try to access the 'net - I find that simply typing "lynx http://www" is enough to make a connection. Dial-on-demand will sit there until a request for a connection is received.
