I used to work in a computer shop and sold hundreds of Fujitsu hard drives. None failures. No kidding. We then started selling Seagates, and guess what? We had to return more Seagates than anything! And, I've got 3 Fujitsu's in my machine at home. I need to add a hard drive to a machine, and a local computer store has a good price on some Fujitsu hard drives.
I'm kind of a brand conscious consumer though, and wonder what kind of reputation this brand has for reliability.
Another store has a good price on some Seagate drives; a little bit more expensive, but not by much.
I have both a Seagate (Medalist Pro) and a Fujitsu drive in my PC. The Fujitsu is much quieter than the Seagate and only a fraction slower. With the lower price the switch to Fujitsu was a speedy choice. JMO. Koos Pol ---------------------------------------------------------------------- S.C.
