I need to add a hard drive to a machine, and a local computer store has a good price on some Fujitsu hard drives.
I'm kind of a brand conscious consumer though, and wonder what kind of reputation this brand has for reliability.
This depends on model which you intend to buy. If you going to buy MPExxxxAH series - yes, they are OK. If you plan to buy MPExxxxAT - I would not recomend them.
Another store has a good price on some Seagate drives; a little bit more expensive, but not by much.
Personally I prefer Fujitsu.
Which has the better reputation?
(When I can order what I want, I lean towards IBM or Quantumm. Down here (Panama) I tend to have to buy whatever is available.)
But I would recomend to buy only IBM HDD. They are marvellous :) Audrius -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
