Hello there! We have installed Linux server recently, and Samba v2.0.6. When smbmount is done, a mounted resource is accessed fast for write (when copying from Linux to mounted) and terribly slow for read (when copying from SMB to Linux). The same thing happens, when we write to Linux's Server SMB emulation, from WindowsNT workstation. In different cases, speed goes down, when Linux is used as target. Direct file transfer between Linux partitions goes OK, so the problem is different. NFS server and client work OK, when used between two Linux boxes. Please, help. Thanks, Egor. -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
