I have a quick question, I have a windows box and a suse box at work. The suse box has no ethernet card in it and the windows box uses its' ethernet card to connect to the internal network of the organization. What I need to do is connect the windows box to the suse box, and use some sort of terminal program to get to the suse box in order to transfer files from windoze to suse. The reason for this is that the suse box stays connected to the internet through a modem and the windows box is connected to the internal network. I can not give the suse box an ip (against policy right now) so I am thinking some sort of null modem connection, but I have never done this before so I need some help on how to set it up on both ends and what equipment (type of cable) to use.
