Hi

For some time now I have been playing around with diald and I have run up
against a couple of problems.
I use ipchains and ipmasquerading on my Linux box to access the internet
from my windows pc.
So far so good.

diald will connect through the chat script to my isp without a problem, with
the command ifconfig I can see that pppd is up and running, I can also ping
the isp...HOWEVER I cant ping any other ip address nor can I access my email
account.

On its own chat works fine i.e. /etc/ppp/ppp-up gives me access to
everything.

Could it be that I have to change the diald.defs file ?

My diald.conf file is exactly the same as the one described in the diald man
and my chat scripts are also very generic.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, I feel I've hit a dead end.
