[SLE] Tape backups?

Well, I've managed to read just enough varying documentation to confuse
myself on the issue of tape backups.

I have a SCSI drive that supports QIC-3080XLF tapes (2 gigabytes
native-uncompressed). I'm a little at a loss as to how to proceed.

I've looked at ftape, zftape, the ftape settings under the kernel, but they
all seem to reference the older QIC-80 style of floppy tape drive.

Anyone have SCSI tape drives and back up to/restore from them regularly
that could give me a pointer to where I should start?

Many thanks,
Argentium
