The answer (I think) is simple. If you want to send a test message, send a message that has content, and your test will be concluded without anyone else even being aware of it. If it doesn't reach the list, you can fiddle with your configs and then resend it.
Nor have I seen either of you flaming the people that go into long winded philosophical discussions that have nothing to do with suse linux.
