with gimg 1.04it should work under xtrns for more info look to the support database scanner under linux
with xscanimage I get:

Have the latest rpm of SANE under SuSE 6.3
I have complied a new one ( now it turned old xsane 057). on the webpage www.mostang.com/sane you should be able to find more info
Thanks for the help over the last month getting to this stage. I feel that it is the software that we do not understand.
Any help to be able to get a jpg for our website would be enormously appreciated as it would free hda from windoze!
