I added this to /etc/lilo.conf and rebooted. Linux still does not see the 96 Mb RAM . Now upon bootup, 96 RAM is recognized in the messages before LILO. So BIOS sees it. I log in as init 2 in the console. Check ram and only 64 is seen. Any ideas? By the way, under chip settings in BIOS, there was some kind of RAM setting for monitor or Windows. It had a choice of 0 32 or 64 and that was it. 64 was selected.
Make sure that the BIOS option "Memory hole at 16MB" is disabled. That fixed this problem for me. -- [-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- adam j henry =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=] | [http: www.heidelberg.edu/~ahenry] [pgp: 0x92B1EDF5] | | [mailto: ahenry@heidelberg.edu] [icq: 5794025] | [-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=] -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
