Try the following (it worked for me while both of us were traveling
with a laptop)...

(1) Set up her individual account/login

(2) Log on to YOUR account.

(3) At the beginning of the day telnet to HER acct and bring up HER
kmail window on your screen with "kmail &".  (Might have to set xhost) 
After you get her kmail up on your screen, you can close the telnet
session.

(4) Minimize her kmail until she needs it, then bring it up and voila!
instant access.
