I just love .asp's ... Netscape has a 50/50 chance of displaying the whole damn things :/ No wonder I wear my asp2php shirt so proudly ;)
Netscape should *never* have *any* trouble displaying a properly written ASP page, because all Netscape should ever see is plain-jane HTML.
Now if the ASP page delivers a bunch of non-standard stuff, that's a problem. Unfortunately, one of those non-standard things - VBScript - is frequently used as a way for an ASP programmer to avoid the necessity of competence.
Well, should is a relative term. MSNBC is a known major offender of bad code. I have always had problems with that site and since Netscape 4.72 is closed source it can't be my fault ;D I am still a firm believer that asps are useless...my answer would be the same as the shirt I am wearing right now " ASP2PHP-Resistance is not futile " :) just my 0.02 -- Ben Rosenberg mailto:ben@whack.org SuSE Linux 6.3 (2.2.14) ICQ UIN:49268667 ------------------------------------------------------------ " Success is how high you bounce when you hit bottom " --Gen.
