I need assistance getting a kernel compiled from the source provided on the 6.3 CD's or downloaded from SuSE to recognize the Promise Ultra66 disk controller (PDC20262). The precompiled kernel does, but I have been unable to get any kernel I compile to do so. Is there anyone I can go to for this kind of support? Even for $? Or am I just stuck with no help here...
