I got an LS-120 super floppy drive yesterday which runs from the IDE port. My system has been entirely SCSI based to date, but insmoding the ide-mod and ide-floppy modules allowed me to access the drive as a regular floppy without problem. Then I rebooted, and when it came back up I had to load the modules again. Without them it says that /dev/hdb (where the drive lives) is not a recognised device. How can I get modules like this to load automatically at boot time, or at the time when they are required (i.e. at mount time)? -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
