I tried using Yast to install the nic at eth0 using the ne2k-pci.0 module Do I have to do something to get setting changes made in Yast to update? I rebooted but ifconfig still reports no eth0 device.
It seems to me that either the ne2k-pci.0 module doesn't work with my card (which is unlikely as it works fine under redhat) or it isn't compiled in the kernal? I've never compiled a kernal so I hope this not this. Or maybe my time has come :-)
