not true! We do try to fix bugs. For what purpose do you think do we have the update directories on our ftp server and its mirrors? Agreed but it would be nice to actually find a fix for the problem.
Did you ever let us know of your problems via either support or Yes but the only response was an automated one.
feedback@suse.de ? Did you check the update directory on our FTP server or its mirrors? Yes. The only thing I got there was an update to the firewals package that upgraded the firewall from completely useless to something that works for a few hours. I still haven't fixed the printing problem that results in a document being reprinted every time I reboot the PC. The FTP site is nice if one already knows what he needs but having to browse that is a very time consuming and with unpredictable results. The support database is a better approach. There I was able to find out that the masquerading had been moved to the new firewals package but nowhere did SuSE mention that the new firewals package was flawed. Only because of a post to this list some time ago did I know that I needed to get an update to firewals.
