Java requires a CLASSPATh environment variable. This is where you should put the '.'. Java uses a system of packages and this is why you cannot get your stuff to run. Try setting an environment variable called CLASSPATh to include your HOME directory and '.' Christopher T. I have gotten this to work with the candidate releases. One thing that can get you with Java is not having the current directory "." in your path. I don't like
