I am somewhat mixed on using the list
Why do you say that? On this particular list, a lack of response usually means that we don't have the expertise or experience to give you a pat-answer.
on the archives, but don't feel like you will get flamed if you come
I am more concerned about getting a useful answer
See above. Usefulness depends on your perspective and your openness to new methods and ideologies. If one of us `regulars' gave you an answer at all that wasn't `useful', it probably means that we didn't properly understand your question properly.
I noticed that. I don't understand why we even have to use such an outdated method of communication of this kind of info. There is no excuse for not using a usenet group for this sort of thing
Usenet is quickly becomming the archaic method. If you want to talk about signal:noise ratio growing out of control, USENET is the place. -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
