'dump' (command line) is also a nice program should be avaiable on any Unix
system. There is also a commerical graphical program called BRU Backup.
There is also KDAT (KDE GUI) which /sounds/ like it should be a backup
program (haven't used it though).

hello there,
I just installed on my system a SCSI-2 Dat and have got a question
What do people generally use to make backups. Tar could be easier (ao at least I am not familiar with it) and I could not find any graphical front end to it. any other suggestions ?
I use Arkeia. Very good interface, easy to use (TM).
