part one: How would i go about creating e-mail aliases?
Make an entry in /etc/aliases like: alias fakeuser realuser And run `newaliases' afterwards.
part two: Woula an e-mail alias be able to take advantage of the .forward file?
Since an alias (fakeuser) has no home directory, I'm not sure what you're talking about. Now, if a valid user (realuser) has a .forward file (/home/realuser/.forward), then all mail sent to fakeuser goes to whomever is in the .forward file. -- -=|JP|=- Jon Pennington | Atipa Linux Solutions -o) jpennington@atipa.com | Kansas City, MO /\\ 816-241-2641 x121 | http://www.atipa.com _\_V -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
