The following happens in configure: When I run 348 root% ./configure --with-qt-libraries=/opt/kde/lib ... checking for KDE libraries installed... yes checking for KDE paths... done ./configure: line 3899: 2110 Segmentation fault KDEDIR= ./conftest 2>/dev/null 1>&5 configure: error: configure could not run a little KDE program to test the environment. Since it had compiled and linked before, it must be a strange problem on your system. Look at config.log for details. If you are not able to fix this, look at http://www.kde.org/faq/installation.html or any www.kde.org mirror. (If you're using an egcs version on Linux, you may update binutils!) config.log merely says: checking host system type... i686-pc-linux-gnu checking build system type... i686-pc-linux-gnu -rpath /opt/kde/lib -rpath /usr/lib/qt/lib -rpath /usr/X11R6/lib 1>&5 configure:3813: checking for KDE paths I don't see anything relevant in the fax, and KDE seems to be finding everything it needs.
