For about 12 minutes last week I had my SuSE Linux box, 2 windows computers and 3 mac computers all using a HP6MP connected to my SuSE Linux box. After initial success, something happened and I started getting mostly blank pages with some little graphic nonsense printed at the top. The pages would not stop coming out of the printer. I killed something (the queue it looks like) and I have not been able to print since. I have read and done most everything I could understand from the SuSE manual chapter 12, but I can't get the printer to work anymore at all. Things go to the queue and stay there. I just figured out how to clear the queue, but the printer still does not work. lpq -P queue produces a 'queue' does not exist message Is there is easy way to re-establish the queue? Or can I easily erase/reinstall the printer stuff from scratch. It was fun at first, but now I'm sick of wasting so much time on this and I just want to print. -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
