How can I retrieve a particular source package (in this case, the .texinfo sources for the Gnu utilities)? I know that they are in package zq, but Yast 1 at least doesn't seem to have any way I can see of retrieving files via their package. (I'm running SuSE 6.2).
You could mount the CD, and copy the files from /cdrom/full-names/src into a local directory and examine/extract the files with mc. I personally like to convert the .src.rpm files into tarballs with alien to make them even *more* managable (# alien -t packagename-0.12.3-4.src.rpm). :) -- -=|JP|=- Jon Pennington | Atipa Linux Solutions -o) jpennington@atipa.com | Kansas City, MO /\\ 816-241-2641 x121 | http://www.atipa.com _\_V -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
