Hello, everyone. I have a friend who rather rashly opted for the Cisco 605/Intel 2100 internal DSL modem/router when he signed up for DSL a few months ago. He actually has the Cisco variant rather than the Intel one, but he tells me it is the same card. He just upgraded from Win98 to W2K on the machine that contains the card, and then found out there are no W2K drivers for it. So, he is out of luck right now. We were wondering if anyone knows of any drivers for Linux for this card. Even beta drivers would be better than nothing. This guy has been a semi-devout RedHat user for a while, but has tried just about every distro out there (even LinuxOne today and the damn thing actually worked ! who'd have thought it ?) except SuSE. I have almost got him converted to SuSE since I am having such great success with it (SMP works, sound works, Apache works, the network works, OpenGL works; it all just works) and he is looking for a distro to settle into. If we can find drivers for his DSL card, we might just win him over. Hope someone out there can help.
