I have installed SuSE 6.3 about 4 times for various reasons. Two of those times I had a problem appear that makes KDM rather worthless. Instead of placing only the valid users; root, me, etc; it put "users" such as adabas, firewall, apsfilter, and others. Also it did not set up all of the various wm's under Session. Has anyone else experienced this problem? It's not that big of a deal. I boot in runlevel 3 and type: startx <wm>; i.e. startx gnome and it works fine. Also I like being able to drop out of X into the console but I would like to know what's up with KDM if I ever decide to use it again.
