Hi.
Does anyone know if wvdial changes your resolv.conf when it connects to an ISP? It is just that i have been noticing that my resolv.conf file changes nearly every time i connect to the net.. I know it is not SuSEconfig because i have told it not to touch any of my files..
Any ideas? If it is wvdial.. Does anyone know how to stop it??
Cya Matthew

-- I have noticed the same thing. WVDial appears to take the original resolv.conf and make a back-up of it and then create its own. Then upon exit of wvdial, its own get deleted, and the original goes back to its original name. I'm not sure why all this takes place.
The thing I'm trying to figure out with wvdial, is why an attempt is made to use
CHAP and PAP, when I have not set the options for these (I using scripting).
