I keep getting this mesaage when closing X after I go online:

Does anyone know what it means and how I fix? I am using SuSE 6.3.
Are you using kppp? Could it be trying to clear up some stuff while KDE shuts down? That's all I can think of - I don't think it's doing any harm anyway. But maybe you're like me and like to eradicate *all* error messages... ;-)
I get messages like that also. I believe it's the result of some weird miscommunication between kppp and the kernel. The kernel proprietors insist it's kppp's fault; the kppp people blame a kernel bugfix. There was some to-do about this a while back, and it's never been solved. Basically, kppp can't tell that ppp support is available in the kernel because its methods of testing don't work on newer kernels. Like the Israelis and the Syrians.
