Hi, I'm using a Kyocera FS-680 Laser Printer with the Postscript Option. I sugest you have a look at this printer as the cost of ownership is considerably less than most other Laser Printers. The drum carries a 3 year waranty on it. You only replace toner. I tried the PCL option on it before I received the PostScript module (was on back order) and did not have any problems with the emulation. Hello linux folks! I'm thinking about buying a new B&W laser jet printer for my Linux box. My present laser jet Xerox DocuPrint P8 is a typical win-printer. It doesn't work with linux at all. I'll try to sell it to winblows addictive perks for a half price. Does somebody know if a new Brother HL-1240 laser jet printer will work with Linux? I couldn't find any information about this printer in Linux hardware support database on suse or redhat web sites. Documentation on this Brother HL-1240 printer says that it supports PCL emulation for DOS printing and emulates HP Laser Jet IIP printer. Could somebody give me a good advise about this printer. Thanks in advance. Alex
