Hi Derek,
I am well aware of Microsoft's attack on RealPlayer, modeled
after their attack on Netscape.  Another tatic to monopolize
the internet, just like they monopolized the OS.

I, for one, don't want to see M$ make the Internet their
propriatary domain by default.  If Alan were serious about
leveling the playing field he could make his plight known
and ask for dontations to create an RA server.  I'd
dontate.  Wouldn't you?
