why not ' declare -x WINDOWMANAGER=":
Just bumped into what looks like a bug... I tried to select another WM
instead of the default KDE via YaST->Configuring susewm, but regardless of
what WM I select in the menu, startx still boots KDE. I have icewm, wfwm and
wfwm2 installed.
This may not be related but you should see if the the wm you want to
use is listed in /usr/X11/bin/wmlist (a shell script). I had to add
wmx to this list before I could use it as the default wm.

PS, I would also like to know how to start another wm without
restarting X when that option isn't provided by the wm.
