Hello, I use SuSE 6.2, and am tired of wiry looking KDE fonts. Looking into different TrueType font servers. From my readings, it seems that xfstt is the easiest to deal with. xfsft is more difficult to install, but may be more powerful. xfs I don't know. What's the preference out there?
Hi George, SuSE's xfs just displays the standard fonts, no TrueType. As I've seen, most on the list use xfstt that displays TrueType only (The other fonts are displayed by X as usual). I happend to have a german description on installing xfsft and that's why I went for that.
