does this disk bring full gnome app's, there is no way for me to star gnome? any hints
That CD does not. However, you can do like I do... Make a boot disk from /disks on the CD, and boot from it. This will allow you to use YaST1 as the installer. Install the Minimum System, then add SaX (that will auto-select the appropriate XF86 packages, libs, and the X server you need). Before you configure X, get your network configuration up and running. Then, re-select your installation media (through YaST) as ftp.gwdg.de; /pub/linux/suse/6.3/i386.de/ . Then go *back* into Choose/Install packages, and *add* the GNOME System Configuration to your own. Proceed as usual, and have a lot of fun :). -- -=|JP|=- Jon Pennington | Atipa Linux Solutions -o) jpennington@atipa.com | Kansas City, MO /\\ 816-241-2641 x107 | http://www.atipa.com _\_V -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
