Hello all,

In my SOHO I also run a Win95 box, Samba filesharing on SuSE linux etc.
I also have setup a split DNS server so all the boxes can be identified
without setting up hosts files.

My router is often opened by named beceause of a query for an IP address
for the name of the workgroup?

I am a bit baffeld. This is a netbios name isn't it. But even then it is
a workgroup, this does not mean a machine with that name must exist does
it?

Can anyone enlighten me?

BB, Arjen
