The error is not serious - just visually unappealing. And this kind of thing makes me think there's perhaps something more serious wrong with my system. Obviously it isn't happening for others.
Nothing wrong with that. Adobe simply ships an outdated Acrobat reader. Just delete the acrobat plugin and netscape will stop trying to load it. In our next version, we'll do just that at installation time.

The only way to get a usefull plugin is to bug Adobe to release a version of Acrobat that's linked against glibc2.
