Does anyone have an idea on how I can take a file that has one file per line and put them all onto the back end of a commend line? If the file is:

/-------------Begine line1 line2 line3 /-------------End

I want it to end up like this

ci line1 line2 line3

How can I do this?

cat filename | xargs ci

or if there are just a few files listed you can use

ci `cat filename`

You might also want to include the '-r' option to prevent xargs from running ci if the filename list happened to be empty.
