I have one stupid question (or maybe 2 :)): When I type "alias" in terminal I can see some predefined aliases..... The question is where can I find file which contains those aliases... My aliases are in .bashrc (is it better way or is it better to put all in one global file ???? ) And one more question . I have problems when i compile some programs ... First I couldn't compile at all I typed ./configure and everything was OK (program could find all components needed ).. After "make" I get error message "Error 1 and Error 2" ... I installed package "xdevel" and I finally compiled Xamp... but I still have problems with some programs ...So my question is : "Which packages are needed if I want to compile and make programs and which are optional" ....and is there any rule what should i install for compiling and making KDE or GNOME programs....
