this is probably a similar problem that i'm having . . .

i've got a firewall and an IP masq running. before i connected it to the
network, i was able to dialout using wvdial. when i connected it to the
network and fired it up, the linux box can be pinged and can ping every
computer in the network. however, i dial out with wvdial in the linux box,
i get connected but i can't ping any computer in the Internet. i believe
that the packets are being trapped in the network. can somebody just send
me the command that i have to execute to make sure that packets destined for
the internet are routed correctly?
