Hi,
I am having problem w/ the ATI 3D Rage IIC PCI video controller w/ 4MB SDRAM. In particular, I am not able to get a "perfect" image with high resolutions, e.g., 1280 x 1024 (or even only 1024x768). The image "flickers", which does not happen at lower resolution. The monitor works fine w/ other video cards.
Are you guys aware of any problems with such video card? And, most important any solutions?
I have the AGP version of this card, and it works perfectly at all resolutions, using the Mach64 driver. Did you set the card up with Sax? If so, the only suggestion I would make is to try XF86Config. Sax didn't set up my card properly last time I tried it, although that was several SuSE releases ago.
