Did u install t1lib before installing gfontview? Did you manage to set up t1lib? I had a bit of trouble doin this.
I couldn't even get started, alas. I picked up gfontview-0.3.2 from metalab.unc.edu, unpacked it, and did a ./configure according to the installation instructions. What I got was: checking for a BSD compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c checking whether build environment is sane... yes checking whether make sets ${make}... yes checking for working aclocal... missing checking for working autoconf... missing checking for working automake... missing checking for working autoheader... missing checking for working makeinfo... found checking for c++... c++ checking whether the C++ compiler (c++O2 ) works... no configure: error installation or configuration problem: C++ compiler cannot create executables Any ideas as to what the problem might be?
