I've had the same problem trying to install 3dfx drivers. I don't know if this is a good thing do to, but I just forced the install using rpm --nodeps or something. Hope this helps, Bart Schouten "Richardson, Leigh" wrote:

Hello everyone
I have a bit of a problem with v6.0 of SuSE. I am trying to update Eterm.rpm and it now tells me that it is failing a dependency "libc.so.6 (GLIBC_2.0)". I don't know what to do. I've removed the egc package and put on the gccfront package when I do 'gcc -v' it tells me that I have version 2.7.x.x which I belive to be the latest. What else could it be. Enlightenment 16.3 does this as well as xsvga.rpm 3.3.5.
Please help
