Is there something wrong with kernel 2.2.14. I downloaded and have compiles it about six times but have a problem getting my parallel port zip drive to work:((
Which of the parport Zips do you have (100 old, 100 new, 250)? How did you configure your kernel?
I also get "modprobe:Can't locate module char-major-4" upon boot up. Sniffing around it seems that this relates to a serial port (com 2). I only have one seriel port on this pc with my modem attached, and this works.
