make all the appropriate /dev ices read/write. audio, dsp, sound etc. try them all and put the ones you do not need back the way they were. Sound funn! clarge@gizmo.macn.bc.ca wrote:

I do have the kernel compiled for sound and I can play music cd's but i can't get any system sounds.
I don't use any modules so that part doesn't help.
