I'm a Unix admin for Long's Drugs shepherding HPUX & AIX systems and we use Linux as Unix desktop workstations. At work we have been running Redhat, but I have been experimenting with different releases (i.e. Debian & Caldera). I just tried the new 6.3 SuSE release and I am delighted with the package, so I plan to pitch my tent here for a while. I do have a (stupid) question: Apparently, I am not installing LILO properly, because when I reboot, the system fails to find LILO and the boot fails. I can use the 2nd distribution CD and boot the installation that way (by identifying the / partition). Obviously, there is a way to configure LILO to boot - what did I do wrong, or more importantly, what do I need to do to correct this situation? One other pressing concern - how does one pronounce SuSE?
