You should find the files under your KDE install tree. On my system, the files in directories under: /opt/kde/share/applnk. Each .directory file is in a subdirectory named the same as your main menu entries, for example: Games would be at /opt/kde/share/applnk/Games/.directory. Jim S. Pep Serrano wrote:
Koss,
I have look for the "SortOrder=..." line in .directory files for several users and no file has such line. Any more ideas? What bug are you talking about? Where can I read more about it? Thanks for any pointing.

Some menu folders in my KDE desktop are too large and they extend out the screen. This is a bug. Remove SortOrder= line from the .directory files from your applnk directories.
