Hi Again, I am trying to compile a driver for my pci ne2K card. I followed the instructions in the source file and compiled using this command: gcc -DMODULE -D__KERNEL__ -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -O6 -fomit-frame-pointer -I/usr/src/linux/drivers/net/ -c ne2k-pci.c I got the error message saying the file must be compiled with the -O option. I did a man gcc and found out that the -O is for optimization. I see -O6 in the compile command but the man pages only show -O options up to -O2. I am using SuSE 6.0 with the standard 'full' installation. Kernel is 2.0.36. Any thoughts?
